Wen 6.5 ton splitter info

I see that the Wen foot pedal doesn't plug n play with the 6.5 ton splitter. has anyone rigged it to work as the only on switch? What did you do? also I see that there is a bleed air screw that needs to be opened every time you use the splitter.extremely easy to forget. has anyone replaced that screw with a permanent bleed bolt that allows a little air thru always? some chainsaws have them for the gas tank vent....what do you know?

I hard wired the pedal and threw out the push button.....the splitter works well and is small enough. if you do use a block to limit the back travel its best to remove it every 15 splits and cycle it with the full travel...it lubricates the piston fully and reduces chatter..

revised....dont use a travel limiter at all....it might shorten the lifespan considerably....do a full retract every piece..no joke..
