Best boots made!!! I have a pair of 16" highliners that are on there 3rd set of soles and have had them for 6 years now. I wore them everyday for 4 years when I was a lineman climbing poles. I also have a pair of the firestormers and have had them for 1 year awesome boots and best bang for your buck when it comes to Wesco's

Ive got 2 pairs of jobmasters, one new and one i just sent in to be rebuilt, most comfortable boots ive ever worn, I usually get the cambrelle lining.

I got a pair of Firestormers that lasted me three fire seasons and i still got em! By far the best boots ever made and well worth the extra $$$

i wore a pair some years back.....i ordered them from sherrill. i don't even think i got a year out of them. i sent them back to be rebuilt and they wanted close to what i paid for them. i don't see what the fuss is all about.

I dont think Sherril even sells them . . . maybe im wrong, are you sure they were wesco?

Both on fire crews and tree crews I find that yes in agreement the Wescos are the best I've tried. 3 pairs and 7 soles makes thirteen little wishes.

all this talk about the shank rusting i thought BS.

Well I got an old pair of wesco jobmaster reg toes here that were given to me and didn't fit, they were pretty much shot too, heal was missing on one.

so after an hour of efforts i finally got the thing far enough apart to find the shank.

was it rusty? hell it had broken in 2!

this shouldn't discourage you from buying a pair, these were well worn out. the inner sole was cracking apart.. toe had worn thru... shot.

Wescos are good but I prefer the custom fit of Whites.

Wesco custom fits boots as well. They were the first boot company in the states to do so as a matter of fact. They started selling boots out of the back of a horse drawn carraige in the pacific Northwest to loggers in the 1800's.
