I have an 8 foot section of western red cedar trunk I was planning on milling. The tree was cut down here in New York and It has a tunnel going right through the middle of the middle that looks like it was made by some sort of bug. Anyone know what caused this and if there’s a way to get rid of it before the entire log is trashed?
