Great pics of a great saw! When I see pictures from the N.W. like this I understand, size matters!

Nice, but I'm fairly immune to that kind of vintage iron. Bragging rights would be okay, but my 3120 is a much nicer and more modern saw. I'll give up some of the "brute" for "nice". I'd be more attracted to an 088/880.

That said, I'd sure like to run one just once. Yes, I'd like the milk, but I don't want the cow.

Hmm, is that muffler-modded?

once you get back a little too far, I lose interest.
sure, its nice and big too, but gimme a 880. something modern.
not knocking your fine saw, I just don't want one like it. I can apprecieate the effort that went into building it, and the sweet outcome though.

Wow, nice saw there. I'm not a big fan of that many old saws, except for the Stihls for some reason, Those old stihls look ahead of their times in design.

You stated that far better than I did. I admire anyone who rebuilds an old saw and puts it to use. And, it is a nice saw. I just don't have that "lust in my heart" as a former President would say. Throw out a 460 or a 372, and I have lust in my heart.

I finally finished the carb rebuild on my 090 and gave her a bath. Man this saw rips! What do you guys think?

My my, fine looking saw ya got there, good work. I had the pleasure of running a 090 not too long ago, belongs to a member on this site, Hoss, and I must say I was impresssssssssssssssssssssssed. That saw does exactly what you say it does, it rips. Its the only saw I've ever heard that instead of being loud it bellers like no other. Gots to get me one of those one of these days...

What model bulldozer is that in the background. I like the size and design of it.

I think you are looking at an old Clea-track. The D-4 Is parked around the corner. It is an old, good little crawler for around your property. No heavy use, spreading rock and stuff.
