I have owned my Jonsered 920 since my dad gave it to me in 97'(he was the original owner). It was made in 82' and the serial number was 1983.

Well, I just bought another 920 from a member here and I took a brief look at it and it was made in 82' and the serial number is 1985!

Anyone have saws in a sequential serial number order? I think it is quite rare to find two saws from different areas with almost sequential numbers.

I knew a guy who had a 920 with 0007 serial number. I think he eBayed it. Who knows, 1984 might be out there somewhere. But, then again, it could have been scrapped years ago....the victim of a main bearing cage failure which caused catastrophic top and bottom end destruction.

I never new 1984 oz. were in a keg of beer. I guess you learn something every day.
