On Saturday I went hunting and firewood cutting. Three of us got two geese and a duck then switched to quail where I got four. Started cutting at 10am on a fairly big blown down white oak. The 440 and 660 got to play.

On Sunday my wife helped me split and stack a cord of wood. That was plenty!

Never ending house re-model.

Straight edged about 150 sq ft of 1x4 Juniper, and ripped to size.
Set up molding head on saw to make old style "bead board".
Beaded 150 sq ft of 1x4.
Set up dado on saw to shiplap bead board.
Shiplaped 150 sq ft of bead board.
Started instaling bead board, after about 75 sq ft I realized I had made a terrible mistake that I don't care to talk about.
Carefully removed 75 sq ft of bead board, and removed nails.
Corrected terrible mistake that I don't care to talk about.
Installed 120 sq ft of bead board. (30 sq ft destroyed in removal)
Went back to saw, and started the process over making another 30 sq ft of bead board.
Installed 30 sq ft of bead board.

I hate re-modeling.

lol, Sounds like quite an adventure. I would really dig seeing some Juniper siding. I lived in central Oregon for about about four years and never did see any there.

I spent most of my weekend hanging out with my girlfriend.
I worked from 5am-10am Saturday morning and my girlfriend and I went out for lunch after work.
Then she called me later that evening and we went X-Mas shopping, went out to dinner and watched a movie at her place.
On Sunday we went and played Bingo and went out to dinner.
I did manage to mulch the last of the leaves on Saturday afternoon before she called me and wanted to know if I wanted to go shopping with her, so I did get something accomplished, but most of the weekend was spent hanging out with my girl.
Id definetly call it time well spent. :)

Here's some T&G Juniper I did on one wall. I haven't taken any pic's of the bead board yet.

looks good, Andy

i'm helping the folks out with their house remodeling during my unemployment

hammering and nailing and sawing is more fun than painting and mudding drywall

I have a spring av mount on my Echo 6700 now, the rubber one broke and has a metal plate on both ends so I brazed a short spring in place of the rubber, took 2 trys the first was to stiff and shook like crazy. Put a lighter one in and it feels real good, now we'll see how long it last. If it breaks I'll have to get the $14 rubber one, the first part beside bars and chains in 7 years on that saw. That didn't take too long, sawed up 6 logs and delivered some lumber and tuned up my friends D14 Allis the rest of the day. Steve

Slabbed the sucker below,
Mucked about tuning the 066 BB project saw
Cleaned out shed,
Cut lawn
Fixed compressor
Started a rebuild of my 010AV in pieces saw
and went to MIL's for home cooked roast dinner !
