ya i hear you Tom
the pipe looks like a 2.7 degree taper we make out here but now almost all pipes are 3.2 degrees give more torque but needs more fuel to.
how big was that log
i donot think Jim would want to cut much bigger from where i was looking

yes the bar
it was close to not cutting the cookie off
he has lots of fuel by the sound of it so he should be able to cut bigger logs before she says in out of here

Yes i would say he would of been fasterwith a longer bar
not here if you say you are cutting 12 inch it better be 12 inch not 117/8 or 121/8 inch round
we here have to put out rules with the wood sizes in it and you have to make sure the wood is that size
do you make your own bar or do the Marcel trick just split a bar and put a piece of another bar in the middle
put the wide piece at the gear end and taper it to the nose end
the nose will still fit and work

now that was stock app. was it not
how is on the other side
what kind of time was that because you cannot time off of this
somewhere a long the line this the computer slows the time down

ya it seem to cut good
most of our chainsaws classes here are 12 inch round and the open 16 inch or bigger

ehp, that was Melvin cutting against Jim in the 12" wood, and I'll bet you he had booze breath. Us west coasters always help Melvin as much as we can, but have fun beating him!

it could have been but i donot know for sure
i donot watch Deba much
i have only done 1 interview with him and he didnot show it
i was at Eagle River 2 years ago and it was cold 25 to 30 below was the high for the day
so it came time for the open class so i went and got my 3120 and was walking up to cut i was in the first heat
got there and was told i could not run a chainsaw in that class
but i had picked up woodlands rotax , the bar and pipe was off
plus the big thing i had never ran a bike saw before that
well put it together and i got 3rd , gaston was first and rick h was second
i guess the bike saws ran so bad for most guys he did not show the class

that is what i thought it was
Melvin willnot like that but if you have a spare saw Mevlin would be high on my list to let someone run it
i let Matt run one of my 0-5 pipe saws and he did well with it
when i go to Webster i should have a new 880 ready because i donot think Moral is coming down

Deba donot like showing the chainsaw classes because he is paid by stihl
there are 4 times the husky saws here to stihl's so the odds are against the stihl's right off the bat
there is only 4 or 5 stihl's out here that you even look at
but there is alot of husky's that can win here

tom, just give me some quality time with a 3 pound hammer and your chain. We will have them whooooped back into shape in no time. I mite need a couple files too. but i might get by wif the hammer. :D

All talk no action

JimL, let us see how your chain cuts! Put on some video so we can check out your saw too! Hey Steve and Tom, nice to see somebody making some fast cuts. Dennis

Hey Dennis and Tom, is it possible that you are misreading JimL`s attitude? I saw his remark about the semi chisel and it looked like he was joking. He usually only argues with people who don`t think that Stihl is the only good brand.

Russ

Hey Dennis, you`re right, and I do like pictures and video. I don`t have anything fast like your`s to show, but I do have a Walkerized 346xp that will destroy anything Rich Hoffman runs. But he`s from Pennsyltucky.

Russ

sorry i donot have a camera plus i donot know if i got anything fast enough to show you
thats all wrong what i meant to say was if i had anything slow enough for the camera to video it

yes Tom i video everything with a video cam.
now if i knew how to put that on the site i would gladly do it
i have a HITACHI vm-e510a
now if anyone can tell a dumb sh*t like me on how to put this on this site i would do so in a heart beat
i think i got gaston setting the world record in 12 inch also plus other stuff like that

now on the faster wrist watch
Tom ihave to be carefull or the word will get out of them
the first saturday in feb. they will have to deal with it
i hope it is not 45 below that day

i will find someone smarter than me to figure it out
but that would not be hard to do everbody is smarter than me
i am just one step up from a worm
