Got this bar with an 015. Stihl bar, part# 3005 000 8309. Solid bar with a replaceable nose and it looks to be .325". From the tip of the bar to the bar slot, it is just short of 14". I went to Stihl to get a DL count and he has no info on it. Seems to be a odd ball as it is a pro style bar for an arborist saw.

Anybody know anything about this bar? It's in really good shape and I plan on using it. Too bad I can't get replacement noses.

I can post pictures if anybody wants them.

I'd like to see what it looks like, never heard of a replaceable nose guide bar for arborist saws other than the windsor mini pro SNR guide bar.

SNR model bars to my knowledge were only standards on Poulan 2400 canadian models.

I have one of those and thought it was the only one left. You will not be pleased toe hear this, it's 1/4 inch pitch. It takes 74 drive links. I am restoring an 015, low serial number all white. If you decide to part with the bar please let me know, the one I have is good but not great.

cb,
i still like to use 1/4 on my climbing and bucket 020's. seems to be a lot less chatter and still cuts plenty fast.
