I was hoping for some help identifying this and getting rid of it if I need to. I noticed these white patches all over 2 of the oaks in my back yard. Most of the spots you see look like someone just took a white paint brush and stroked it across the top leaving low areas untouched and in the photo you sill see this one broken branch that has been entirely encased in a more fuzzy looking mold. Any thoughts?
