hello everyone..i just bought a 455 rancher and i was wondering if it should be broke in with 50:1 or if i should mix my fuel 40:1? this is my first husky and i want to make it last for a while.
what mix ratio for new saw?

Buy a bottle of husqvarna oil,either a 1 gallon mix,or a 2.5 gallon mix....Pour in the bottle of oil,then fill the can with the reccomended amount of fuel

the saw came with a bottle of 1gal mix..i thought maybe i just needed to run it a little rich during break in..

Sorry,I was being a smart ass....Don't run it rich,there is no benefit from it.Just mix as reccomended and you'll be fine.

Hey man, there's an ongoing joke here about how often the question of oil mix ratio comes up. I think I've seen two or three threads on it just since the first of the year.
