16" on a 200t.

That boxy little saw doesn't postition too well if you are removing a small branch coming off a big trunk on the engine side. Easier to trim where you want, and a little more reach, too.

If quarters are so tight that a 16" bar is in the way and the boxy engine is not...put the handsaw on it.

BTW: I have used both 14" & 16" bars. The dealers will invariably suggest a 14". I suspect they make more money on them. That little saw has lots of power to pull the 16".

14" on the 200.

14" on the 192 was probably a mistake. An 8" might have been more realistic.

I prefer to pull up a bigger rear-handle saw if I need a longer bar. Heck, when I started my climbing saw was a 260.

:agree2: Those little saws are a little light in power.. Ours wears a 12" bar.. not bad. I like it as it is so small.. but if you got anything bigger than a large pencil better grab the 200T. :) Our Echo 330T has a 12" as well. The 330 is closer to the 192 than to the 200.

Those were the days.. still use 260 a lot from bucket. My own 260 has a 18" bar on it.

Yup, 18" on the 260 (with a muff mod) seems to be sweet.

And a 12" on the 192 would be great, but haven't felt it worth it until I mess up the bar that's on it.
