Looking at a 1985 brush bandit disk with a 4 cyl ford engine. It has one set of blades that are 6" long so a total blade length of 12". Anyone know what size wood this will take or how to find out, the sticker is to faded to make out any other info.

Sounds like a mighty bandit, probably 6" capacity. If it'll fit into the rollers, it'll chip it :)

Umm the Mighty bandit had the wisconsin engine. This one sound more like an old 65 to me.

It has to be a 90 with the 4 cyl Ford Liquid Cooled Gas - good luck fitting that on a 6" - the machine is a 9" capacity - will eat 6" to 7"

Watch the governor on that engine - it should be belt driven and filled with oil.

nope!

One pair of blades, total length (end to end) of 12", Ford 75hp gas engine, 1985== thats got to be a model 100 which would have a capacity or 12".
