well here's the story on what I did. Decided to to go ahead and take out the two most damaged stems of the 4. Climbed up in he tree and started to see the effect of the first cutting. 2 ft dead wood stubs with new limbs growing up and past old cut. The 2 stems that I left have decent crowns except for this weak attachmant to the main stem. Limbs are long and hang way out. Thinking I could shorten up the limbs a bit so the next snow storm wont be so damaging. I am taking pictures but have not sent for developing yet. I'll put them up when I get them finshed. Been trying out the distel with different wraps and lije the 3 over 1 so far. Added a knot tender to my climb line when body thrusting and it is helping out alot. I am using a screw link attached to a small prussic loop tie to my climb line seems to work ok but will try a pulley when I get around to buying one. Doing the same for my lanyards and it works very well. thanks for the help.
