What type of license is required in NJ?

Is there a specific license that is required to have a tree biz? Can the license be obtained by paper work or does it require years on the job by a big tree company,which would make it impossible for me to start up a tree ! IM looking to do some schooling since i still have some va loan money left. I'd like to get certified to do tree removal /rigging oke:

Well for starters get your home improvement contractors lic. Than take it from there ... makes no difference if your a certified rigger or not ...
