I will have the biggest tree on here when I finish felling it. I started on it last summer and have been steady at it, but the 084 will only cut so fast. Dennis says that stumping jumping makes an exciting thing to watch but I will fell this one with a Humbolt( we got 1345 board feet out of the undercut piece). I am not quite sure of the species but it will be over 100' easy DBH. I think it is a cross between a ekliptious/dug fur and dongus gigantious.
Here is a 3 footer that I just pushed over. Mike
PS. Gypo if you look close you can see your burn barrel!

Burn barrel? Is that another Llamabert story like the shopping cart and the soiled underwear stories? Brace yourselves Arboristsite members!

Hey THF, what are you doing standing on that diving-board like that. You have to be careful you could end up doing a one and half into a triple lindy like Roodny Dangerfield.

Mike why did you push it over. That's what chainsaws are for, you own 500 part saws. How good the parts are is to be debated.

Hey Mike why polute the world with a burn barrel esp CALI, there for Rednecks anyways.

Bio hazard waste like Gypo`s drawers is routinely incinerated. Maybe something in the food or water out there makes this a common occurence? :D

Little red oak

Here's a little "pecker pole" ,as J.Lambert would say.About 107 ft,diameter at the cut,about 56 inchs.

Here is the biggest Sugar Maple I have cut that I have a picture of. I believe it was 4.5' at breast height. Not sure though, cause I didn't actually have my breasts against the tree, but I do recall tapping it though. :blob2:

Lenny,

I hate to tell you this, but in that second pic,

you've not cut an open-enough notch to get that tree to fall against it's lean.

Did you happen to see that will o' the wisp over your right shoulder at the time or was it a surprise when you got the photos back later?
