What's the point of cutting cookies?

^ BINGO!!! i had a lovely gal ask me to cut "some of those discs of wood" today. She wanted them as stepping "stones" for her garden paths, and some thin ones for palce settings and table center pot/pan rests. fired up the Husky and cut her about 50 in a few minutes. Got a case of beer for no work at all and she was happy.

Forgot all about my special request from my parents last summer. Took a 28" first cut black oak and made 3" cookies till i got down to 16" size cookies.
Wanted them for outside stepping stones for the garden areas and sloping areas around flower gardens. Turned out nice.
 
I wish someone would put up a pic of a hollow log so we could talk about donuts for a while.
