Whats the scoop on this smoke jumper saddle by New Tribe? I am in the market to buy a new saddle and this smoke jumper is not only inexpensive, but it is pretty sporty lookin'. I like the idea of having equiptment loops on the leg straps, but I also like a saddle with a floading D. From the pics I have seen, the D on this saddle needs to be connected to the waist strapps via a triangle link. Is it possible to connect one of the waist straps to a snap on the standing end of your climb line and the other to a split tail or a tress cord? Or is ever thing intended to be connected to that one D ring that is backed up by the triangle link?

Maybe its just me but Im leaning to the Pro Versitile. Its a few bucks more, but how the heck are you gonna double crotch in one of those smoke jumper saddles?

It pretty much is the same as the regular Ness work saddle. I've heard nothing but good things about it, and it's gonna be my next saddle.

But, I don't double crotch.

I ride a floating D wide back from Buckingham now. The thing I hate is that one. the leg straps tent to crunch the cajones. two, you have only one suspension point on the bridge unless you use a HDP roller, I hate having 3 rope snaps or biners tied into one D ring suspention point at the same time. I guess there is really nothing wrong with the Weaver saddle that I have, Im just looking for something a little more light weight
