It's a military Husky - I've never seen one in the flesh but I've seen pics of them. Matt

guy selling it doesn't know where it came from, but has 181 se on the side... is it worth buying? circa $120, ( £65 )
 
If it was here and it ran at all and i had the chance to own it, it wouldnt be forsale right now.

Yep, husky 181 or 281 XP. There were quite a few sold on ebay in the UK over the last 12 months or so. I think I seem to recall asking one of the sellers who was putting out quite a few of them where they were coming from. She told me that she'd bought a job lot from an army surplus auction. They usually come in their own green box.

£65 for a good condition 181/281 is a steal. I sold my 281 XP for about £225 on ebay last year. Mind you, that was a limited edition one in ORANGE:hmm3grin2orange:

He posted that it is a 181SE which is a predecessor to the XP models
