Whats with thw pop ups?

I havent been on much lately as work is busy, now I have noticed a pop up box in the upper right hand corner of my screen which asks me if I need a tree service? it even states the company is from my local area.........SOooo outta curiosity I check it out, another company using the term arborist that shouldnt & of all companies to promote themselves..........WHY?

I also think its funny that the pop ups know what thread youre on or even the fact it knows what county to promote this biz in & in regards to me? Hmmm could this somehow be based on IP address or info obtained in regards to my login?

Im hopeful I wont have to endure these popups anymore as I dont need a tree service, an arborist, a hack company, a stump grinder service or any other BS the promoter of such is peddling!
