Looks like there 40$ for 1 on Amazon. I got one from a stihl shop that’s a stihl file but it’s a triangle and didn’t seem to work that good for me. I’d like to try the kind with a 45 degree angle on it. I’ve mostly only used round bit wanna try square again and have square chains still

I bought a square grinder and saw how bad my square fileing was.
I don't remember where I got files, probably on line.

McMaster-Carr will have them as well as any other file you might need. Where I get all my files for the machine shop. Only buy domestic (Nicholson) files.

I’ve got the three Vallorbe models (2270, 2276, 2279), Pferd chisel and triangle, and an economically priced double bevel produced under the Woody’s brand that I’ve been selling to members and on eBay for a while. Most of the time they’re about half the price what others are selling them for.
