You are headed the right direction. There is no fast or easy way. I got my chance to climb when I was the hardest working groundy with the most rope and rigging knowledge. They said "hey climb a few trees while we find another full time climber". Three seasons later and I am still their main climber doing full time production work. They stopped looking for another climber after about two weeks of me proving I could bang out hard removals and do good prune jobs. Just wait for your chance and it will come. Know how to tie every knot and when to use them, don't **** peoples property up.
