Where it all Started

Here a few pics of how I got way overboard with the chain saw. I decided to put an addition on the old Trappers cabin up in VT. All the wood I cut and had milled by a local mill. The logs were done on site by the builder. Since I sold my vacation house in Northern New Mexico I brought a little south west North.

Here's a small bear my friend plugged thinking it was a gaint. Poor thing was about twice the size of my Lab.

147" Pope and Young buck arrowed in 1999 with a cedar shaft.

Another one shot with a Freedom Arms 41mag. I should have waited 1 more year, 129" of head gear, After planting feeder plots let me tell you it's the way to go to get the antler.

288 there not Booners Just some average deer. Those are from VT. I have shot 14 Pope and Youngs bucks in New Jersey.This is the closest I have come to a Booner. this buck was 2" shy when it was scored. I have a friend who lives in Alberta and I passed on this deer 2 years prior. 1 Arrow from a stick bow in the boiler room ended it all from 7 yards on the ground.
