Anyone know who might carry a 12" 10 spline 1 3/8" shaft Ford clutch? It's off a an Asplundh chuck n duck. Altec doesn't carry them. Found 1 place but it will take a week to ship. Same clutch as off a 1975 ford F500. 13" clutch won't fit. Would an 11" hold up?

$290 a day to rent a BC1000...ouch.

Edit. Nevermind, found one, will be here tomorrow.

When I replaced the one on my Chuck-N-Duck I replaced with a Clutch and Pressure plate for a Ford 8N Tractor Clutch plate is a perfect match. I had to slightly open the Bolt holes in the Pressure plate a bit. Advance has these usually on the Shelf. Mine has been running now for 1-1/2 Yrs.:blob2:

FWIW, I don't think Altec supports anything to do with the motor very well. They didn't have a radiator, and could only "hunt one down" at a cost of almost $800.

Do you have the manual for yours? If not, let me know. ;)

Erik, Any Good radiator Shop Should be able to build you a radiator That size for about 300.00 I had one built for a Old English Ford tractor Built a few yrs ago for 250.00 about the same size.

No I do not have a manual :(

Oh, I didn't actually get a radiator from them, believe me!

Dropped the old one off at New England Radiator Works in the morning, picked it up that afternoon. All the bends and kinks repaired {That was the result form the big truck slamming the chipper radiator at 20mph... downhill}, and recored... for $135.00.

Which model is your chipper? (JE..JEX... etc..)

Part number

I know this is a very old post but do happen to know the part number for the 12" clutch?
Thanks
