Sorcerer -- er, I mean, Mr. Woozel, nice job -- REALLY nice job! But if you'll allow me -- 100% certain? I mean, really, I know you all are good, but 100% certainty? I have to agree with Butch and put a reasonable percentage on it when working residential. There's no way you can compare the relative safety when taking that tree whole as opposed to chunking it.

I like to look at risky jobs statistically, like Butch does. If, say, you assign at 95% confidence level to every job, and if you alalyze it mathematically, it only takes 12 jobs at a 95% confidence level to have a 50/50 chance to have one of those jobs fail -- perhaps catastrophically. For you full-timers, that's only a matter of a few weeks at that rate.

NeTree, correct me if I'm wrong.

I do't do anything like tthat without my being 100% certain about the outcome, but mathematically there will be a different outcome I do think it must be better than 99/100, besides I have made some lulu of mistakes in my career , How many of you have broken a bridge? Or had to use 4-5 pounds of powder to correct something as small as a misdirected facecut? that tree was really straightforward, the 2 houses and fence just happened to be alongside the lay.:umpkin:

Thanks Gord, and to think I crawled out of the sack on a Sat for that. Missed out on that morning fun with the missus and got corked at the garqage sales.

sorry woozel...didn't mean to downplay your magic. it is a ???? impressive fall, nothing short of artistry on the job.

will you tell us the bridge-breaking story?

Hey! PSSST, I just saw him lurking, RBtree is online here.
I think I know Roger now, he's very modest about this thread. He can't deal with the notariaty, that's it!
I can't speak for Roger, but I bet he appreciates the kind things everyone has said about him.
Hey Roger! Throw a bit o ????e, will ya?

Hello Roger, where are you? Is it something we said? Is it something you want to talk about? Is it something you care to share?
Don't make me come out to Seattle!
