mid size.

for what you're planning on doing, something around 60cc with a 20" bar will do.
compare prices on the xp and non-xp husky saws and find a deal, they're out there.

Mitch

Okay first off I do most of my cutting at 5500ft according to the GPS and some at 6000Ft my back yard is almost 4000ft above sea level. I tried a 2156 at the dealer and was not impressed that it was any better than the 2159 same as a 357 vrs 359. Now were I live I saved over 150$ going with the 2159 plus I did do a muffler job myself on the saw and that woke it up even more it is a non cat 2159. Most of my wood is 16'' and smaller but sometimes I get into the 18'' 20'' wood all soft wood and have now trouble with the 2159. If I cut large poplar say 30- 36'' I like to play with my big saw's Granted poplar is not the best fire wood but hey it is free and who cares a 36 dia poplar equals allot of fire wood.

So should I just get a MS361? I negelected to mention that my local dealer only sells Stihl (although he services Husky as well). If I went with the 359/357xp, I would be buying it from the internet and would have less support. The MS361 is only slightly more money than the 357xp.

If you got the money to spare then go with the 361, that way you got parts and service close to you ,,,,

Damn it I feel violated now :crazy1:
