Gypo Logger
Timber Baron
Hi, I,ve been staking claims up here in the Yukon and often times have to clear an area so the helicopter can land to pick me up.
Obviously, the helipad chosen is the one with the fewest and smallest trees. Dia. rarely exceeds 8" Balsam or Spruce. The 12" hatchet I've been using is too slow and dangerous for the job.
So, my question is: What Silky would be best for the job? I'm looking for cutting speed. Would the 14" folding blade be best and if so, would I get the large, medium or fine tooth?
Thanks for any suggestions.
John
