O hi o
Anybody, anybody, anybody? How much bigger is it then the920?Hows it run?

The 90, 910, 920 and 930 are all the same size - 87 cc.

The 90 and 910 are "pure" Jonsereds, while the 920 and 930 are E-lux Jonsered - with influence fron at least Partner, and probably also Husky, in the design......

This is true, the 910,920,930 all almost look identical.

We've beaten the "super" thing to death in regards to the 630 and 670 saws...some of them said "super" and some didn't. I don't know this about the 910-920-930, but I bet there really isn't a difference.

I will say that the 920 is a lot peppier saw than my 90. the older-design 90 makes power up to perhaps 9000 rpm and the 920 will probably pull hard to 11500 (guessing by ear).

Doesn't the Super mean they utilized a closed port design that gave a small boost in HP over the open port design in the non-super models?

I don't think so - as far as I know they were all closed loop designs.

On the 630 and 670, the Super designation had a clear meaning - more power.
As far as I know no-one, on any of the chainsaw forums that I follow, have been able to explain what it means on the 920 and 930......:bang: :bang:

The power output of the 910, 920 and 930 also seem like a well kept secret - my guess would be that the 930 is about on par with the Husky 288xp.....

i guess i dont own one....or do i.....there is a 920 and a 910.

I think I saw one of these saws laying outside in a pile of junk at a junk shop today. I was thinking it said 980 something or other, but it must have been 930. It looked pretty complete except for B&C and a few nuts and bolts. The starter cover was loose and wasn't pulling right so I reached under it and could turn the flywheel over with my finger. Didn't feel like it had much compression. I see at acres that its a big saw and it it looks like the ones in the pics. I might go back and check it out. It might be one those muric acid cleanup and new piston and rings fix ups. What would aftermarket piston kit cost. There was also several bars laying next to it. Anyone know what numbers to look for on the bar to fit it? Is this saw the same as any Husky models? I might could get it for less than $10.00, its just laying in a pile of junk with dirt doppers building in it.

He also had a Homelite EZ-6. It was pretty rusty and wouldn't pull over. He had a tag on it for $25.00 but it wasn't worth it I don't think. Are they worth fooling with? I probably could get both for $25 but knowing my luck its all junk.

They use the original large Jonsereds mount - D024 in Oregon lingo, but I think you can use the large Husky/Oregon D009, if you widen the slot that fits over the bar bolts slightly.

At least the bore and stroke was adopted from these saw when Husky introduced the 288xp, but I don't know how much else....

It it not "the same" as any Husky models.

The slot on the bar is wide on these. If you have the bars right with the saw go ahead and try to fit them up.

I don't know if they have aftermarket pistons and cylinders for these saws.

does anyone have a johnsereds 920 for parts that they would like to part with?

Is the crankcase assemble the same on the 830 and 930? I have a friend that has a 830 crankcase and a good 930 top end, and would like to know if they will work together before I buy.
