I have three Big Shots....and just got the new design. It's nice, but the pouch seems too open. It's hard to do angling shots, and keep the weight from falling out.
I prefer a solid 8 foot pole, for those shots when I use a quick release, which needs to be slid down the pole under progressively more pressure (attached with a prussic. wouldn't get it past the ferrules of shorter poles. A QR is key for aiming long shots. allows you to hold the pole in the air and sight down it accurately while holding it rock steady.
