Does anybody know who made the Craftsman saw back in 1992 ? I have a 2.3 37cc craftsman chain saw i bought new and cant find the RPM range setting for it. The exhaust for the craftsman saw comes out the side on the back right. I'm thinking its an ECHO ..........?

Craftsman saw

A pic would be useful to ID your saw. I have seen Craftsman/Sears saws that were made by David Bradley, Roper, Homelite, Solo, Echo and Poulan, to name a few.

So its a Poulan ? I went to sears.com and it does not show the rmp range eather. I have the owners manual and nothing in there on rpm. hummmm..... I thought for sure it was an Echo with the exhaust comming out the side on the back.

Here is a site to determine who manufactured the sears product. http://www.asecc.com/data/sears.html
Ray , looked at the link and sure enough..........says Poulan. I stand corrected. ( that is also a good link to save , thanks )

The Echo prefix for Craftsman saws was 271. I don't think Echo made any that late, most were in the early 1970's...Bob
