I have an 066 red light which is attached to my Woodbug. Bought it off ebay 6-8 years ago and it hasn't missed a beat. It's still going when I'm too pooped to pucker.

Man they drink like a fish though.

If you go out with one of those Husky combi cans that sucker will empty it by lunch time, like what's it got, almost 1L fuel tank.

Yep.. one tank - I get about 18 linear feet in 20 inch maple milling..

I' am surprised we have'nt heard aboot the MS650, being the new meat in town, even if it's a strato saw.

It's not... It's just a "cost reduced, power reduced" 660. Just like the 341 is to the 361.

Is it a strato charged saw John?

As I am just getting some time one on after a sorted rebuild. It is becoming very apparent why Stihl gave you a gas-gauge (semi - transparent tank)

As it is going to spend some quality time living pig-rich till it's a little more broke in, I just wrote the gas consumption off at that. Glad to hear that they like to live the good life. Sure do trip over a lot of cut up stuff everywhere, on the way back to the gas can! If timing is everything to a Rain-Dance, this one will give up the ghost right when the 661 hits the shelves!

On it's way...

I got a066 on it's way from B.C. Canada. So far, I got the bar and chain today, but I'm hoping for the powerhead tomorrow. The bar is a Oregon 36" and in very good condition. I'm stoked.:rockn:  :rockn:

661.

If that happens won't it be almost as heavy as the 880, with only slightly more HP as the 660? With reduced vibration of course.
Just kidding, this seems to have been the case with the 441 over the 440.
Couldn't resist.
Who know what Stihl or Husqvarna will come out with next? That'd be my luck though, buy a 660 and shortly after a new 661 comes out.:dizzy: I'm getting a 660 in a couple of weeks.

I have an older (no decompression release and the little helmet decal) 066 Magnum with factory dual port. I bought it from an Ohio AS member. Running a 24" bar with a 20" and 32" in reserve. Anyone know when they started putting the decompression in? I've seen pictures of 036's and 044's on Ebay with no decompression and the same little helmet decal where the "PRO" plate is now.

Brand New last week!!!
At one time I thought that my old Homie 360 could git er done...
I was obviously mistooken.

I gotta 66, and it is the coolest.

It has no decomp valve, and could use one... but it always comes through for me.
