I want to start sharpening my chains with a beveled(for lack of a better word) file instead of the round file I have been using.Who sells them and what is the best brand?I see Bailey's and Madsens sell them anyone else.I also see a three sided and a flat w/beveled edge.Is one better than the next?I do understand this can be a difficult sharpening tech. to learn,so I'll read up a little and of course screw up some chains but I want to learn it.Any and all help will be appreicated. Thanks:)

Buy one of each and see which you like better. you will go through a few before you master it. Also some chains seem to be qute hard from the factory grinding and unless you put good pressure on from the start to break throug, you quickly lose the sharp on the small edge bevel. It is hard to get good pressure when you are unsure and timid about what you are doing too. Kind of like putting salve on a sore dink! It can keep you entertained for a while. Have fun
