Well, we hope to see ya up there, like I said we got a pretty long haul too but we are all lookin to have a GREAT time, I know TTR and me and C4F have not been there before but i think WJ has been . . dont make my word!!
Hope 2 C'ya! :rockn:

I did a "map quest" thing and both are about 5 and a half hours for me.With that in mind ,it's still up in the air weather I make it or not.

It all depends on my work .If I'm required to work until 2 AM in the morning,Sat.,then Fife lake is out.If I don't work the weekend,Luther is a go.

Well,whatever the case,I'll end up with two modded saws,perhaps a good thing,perhaps not,depending on how well I wield a die grinder and a file.:D

Al, I had to use a personal day and a vacation day to make it up there for both days. I figure life is to short to work all the time :dizzy: . So hope to see you up there.
I have a 45min drive to WJ's then 7 hours from there to luther from what I was told.
Also if we can talk TTR into having a gtg soon  , you could put those 3ci and 4ci to use too.

Big Dave puts on a heck of a show!!! I have been going there for years. Who ever shows up at these shows will be 100% glad.

Rick

I sure hope we have a good time!!! I'm getting excitd. We leave in . . 5 days and some odd hours. . . going to be a loooooooooong drive though. we have to be AWAKE at 2:3 am. . YIKES!!!

Well, the bad news for me is that I'm now on 11.5 hours per day, seven days a week.Good pay check but little time for anything else.

The good news is I don't have to rush tweaking the little saws. While I'm at it,I think I'll fiddle with the piped Mini Mac some more.Gyp and big Dave better keep a keen eye on this one, there's a new kid on the block ,ha.

.

Maybe the next GTG Al, Maybe July somewhere, hint hint TTR.

Luther or Bust

Me and my muffler gas saws may be to slow for this type of alky piped saw racing, but I am going to have FUN learning.

Looks like someone is ready to go...

Not sure if I'm going to be able to make it. The week has been too damned busy and I'm totally dead. I'm in a teleconference right now (on mute!), and then I have to be somewhere at 6pm and won't be home until midnight. And I still haven't made any chains, having trashed my other "fun" loops a while back. I will see how tired I am come tomorrow AM...

Thanks Big Dave for putting on a great event and making this newbie fill right at home at my first real event.
Here is a pic I found of my 4th place run in the 3ci stock appearing class with my 5000. Getting a little money for something so fun was icing on the cake.
:D Then doing the same thing at the Fife Lake event was a double bonus, Hope you and Cliff do the 2 event schedule again in the future, it makes the drive really worth it. Thanks again.
People that like chainsaws, just dont know what they are missing by not competing with them too. ;)

I didn't take any, but the Helsel crew was snapping pics right and left. I'm sure they'd be willing to share a few here on AS...
