This year I noticed my rose bush wasnt doing well and upon closer investigation, going lots of small green caterpillar-like crawlers eating up almost every new leaf growth. I don't have pics but so.done told me to use Diazinon on it. I'd rather not use poison on it. Any non poisonous product to use?

Remove the affected leaves by hand. And check frequently for any that may have been overlooked. Many pests prefer the under side of the leaves also,

If you can confirm they are caterpillars and not sawflies, products containing BT (Dipel is one name brand here) are still poisoning the bug but people afraid of the idea of "poison" are OK with it because it comes from naturally occurring bacteria.
