Although working in the winter offers different challenges, it is also fun and scenic as well.
Here is a picture I took this morning with the frost coming out of the trees as well as freezing rain being added to it.
Falling in the wind has it's own brand of problems and sometimes it's better to stay home or come home early.
This is when you wish you had a place in the Bahamas.
John

Here is another picture showing my sensitive side.
It would have turned out a bit more pleasing had the sun been shining.
John

Good to hear from you. For a moment I thought that ticker held you in the house, or perhaps the nurses :blob2:

Nice pics!

Had a few snowflakes but they went away, luckily.

Nice pics John!
I was wishing I had my camera with me on my way in to work. Trees were reallly nice looking...........I must be getting old since I am more appricative of these things now...........

Nice pics... I especially liked the second one. I think the sun shining would have spoiled the "cool" effect, though.

Hi Bill Winter, I will try to change it.
Mange, I noticed that Stockholm is about 15 degrees of latitude farther North than us here. The average temp this week was -2 degrees C.
John

It is seventy degrees here today, what is that in Celcius, like 120?

No wait, that is how I figure kilograms........

You Canadians drive on the right side of the road, or the wrong side?
If you drove on the wrong side, wouldn't there be like a lot of wrecks on the
border?

Hi Tony and Erik, glad you liked the pics.
Fish, here is a thermometer that shows both F and C. Sometimes we have to think in both metric and British here in Canada. It's all because of Pierre Elliot Trudoe and Mick Jagger.

Spreken zie Frenglish?
When you coming back to the states? I have Fisherized that Wild Thing for
you.
We can go to church together, we baptize in the creek down here.
Much better for the soul. They make Wild Turkey downstream.

Gypo.

The past 9 days there hasent been any nights below 0.
Stockhom is 600km north of me. I am in south Sweden, Stockholm is about 1/3 up, In nothern sweden they had first snow that lasted in November.

Mange.

come on up here if you want some fun Gypo, it is freezing rain like hell here right now , everything is covered and the roads are like a bottle , should make hooking chokers on to the trees very interesting

Hi Ed, we were lucky and escaped most of it.
Anyway, I'm done fighting for tonight and will take my Geritol and get into my pajamas, but before that, check out this picture, I didn't do anything to it except downsize it.
Nighty Night,
Love to All.
John

Hi Tony, I'm glad you pointed that out because I couldn't figure it out and thought it three dimensional, but yes it does look like a painting.
In the following picture all I did was brighten and add contrast.
I used an 8 pixel Sony Cybershot DSC F825 with Carl Zeiss 28- 200 lense.

Some day I am going to the great creeks in Canada to show you how to get some fiching done.

You have some fine views, there.

Bahamas is for the ones who don't understand why there is no pool service, just wildlife and other stuff.

Mange

Gypo, maybe you should put some of those shots together into a calender, eh?
