Hello all,

Ok, a bit off-topic... but you have all been so patient with all my beginner questions, I thought I would share some pics from the last few days of mowing the trails on our farm in central Wisconsin.

Actually, we kept a map on hand and as we mowed the trails we marked every saw-log (blow-downs) that we came across... so we killed two birds with one stone! <grin> Some great trees with very few branches... I can't wait...

We have a Wood-Mizer "open house" that we will be attending on Saturday and although I have been saying this for almost a year now... just maybe I can fire up my LT10 during the next week!!

Thanks to you all.... enjoy the pics! (I hope this works!)

Love your pictures! The trees are just starting to change here in Illinois. Falls my favorite season.

Amazing pictures, a couple I actually feel like I am walking through your property. Here in Washington our deciduous trees are still hardening off from the unusually long and dry summer we have had. I am very envious of your native trees! Any pictures of the saw logs?

Any pictures of the saw logs?

No... but I can't wait!!!

We have had two bad summers here that have blown down some awesome oaks (well, awesome for our soil... we live in very sandy soil... glacial Lake Wisconsin)

We are so looking forward to bringing back some of these saw logs and breaking in our LT-10!!!!!

We promise, that when we start, we will take pics and share!!!

We will be attending the Wood Mizer "Open House" tomorrow at Mosinee, WI in the morning. They will be demo-ing all of their mills and probably making me drool the whole time!!!!

Thanks,
