Looking for info on another worker's comp ins.co. I have work's comp now but back on 6/13/2001 one of the guys got hurt. My comp ins. still has not payed the bill and now the doctors and hospital are getting upset. Is there a national work's comp ins. co. for the tree industry or we in LA is there one locally anyone would suggest. Need some help. Thanks Curtis:

Hartford is good. Comp rates are pretty much standard for each industry so you can't really save money by shopping around. You can, however, find an agent or broker who will work with you when you need it. Obviously, you don't have that now. I'd file a complaint with the insurance commissioner for your state. Then start looking for a broker who has time to talk to you.
