Worst Tree to Climb

This would have to be the worst tree i've ever seen to climb or do any work on. I saw these all over the place in Haiti. They call it a Mabi tree.

Have a Locust to trim tommorow, but it's not as bad as that thing. Even so they aren't all that fun.

I got stuck by one in my palm back in Jan. and it got infected. My buddy had one go clean through his flip flop when we were fishing a few years back. He ended up having to go to the emergency room. He became deathly ill and ended up with blood poison.

Yea but at least with locust you can cut or kick off,them don't look like there going anywhere.

I was pissed for sure. I blame myself though. Should have double checked to make sure everything was loaded. It was left in a condo complex. I had to go talk to the property manager about more work. Told them to load everything up so we could roll when I was through and they left it. You'd think you could count on guys to at least load the friking equipment. Rode by there today to look and see if it was still there. No dice. I bet the thieving landscaper took it!

No idea. Mabi is what the Haitians called it but that may a local name. Here's a pic of the leaves. Maybe somebody can find out more info.
