I would want to actually try on the big ticket items like the saddle and spurs before purchasing. I've never tried titanium spurs. I would say they are not worth it, cause I'm happy with my 25 year old Kleins.

Sounds like you have done your research, and can afford the gear, so all the best to you. I bought, and continue to accumulate gear one piece at a time. A lot of it is still shiny, cause it only got tried once or twice, lol.

Yeh I've done tons of research I mean like you wouldn't believe lol. But yeh The spurs are actually what I'm having trouble figuring out... Titanium? I can get everything in this kit minus those spurs for $1280 in just a premium rope climbing kit. I was thinking of doing that and getting the Gecko aluminum spurs.

Man I shoulda put this in 101....

That's a really nice kit and those spurs are worth every penny, if I had the money I'd certainly purchase it. If you can afford the finer things in life by all means go for it because life has an expiry date so enjoy. But that's me..

I would definetly pull the trigger on that kit very nice gear set for a lot of different climbing styles. The titanium spurs would be very nice and they are definetly a plus nothing to worry about there very strong very durable the one thing i would say about getting geckos is the weight limit on them im a real tall guy and weigh about 200 dry and then with gear and a bigger saw i would be over the limit for them so the titaniums would be the way i would go. But i would get that kit if youre able its a very nice solid setup.
