Wow!

I was 'quality' shopping at my local Wall Mart. Turned a corner admiring all the good stuff when I was confronted by a shelf of 3 Poulans, a Wood Shark, a Predator and and a Wild Thing. Scared me so bad I hid in a corner until I got up nerve enough to slip up and quickly grab a gallon of chain oil.

I bought a gallon of bar oil at Walmart once. It didn't seem to be as tacky/stringy as what I was used to using from Tractor Supply Co. Haven't been tempted to go back to Walmart for anything where innate quality matters, not that they don't probably have some quality stuff, but if I'm not sure I can tell the difference, I'll go somewhere where they can. I tried the poulan bar oil and didn't like it. I use carving bars, they need good oil and lots of it. I was seeing heel wear on the chain.

That was my first thought when I saw it. Then I was sure as I saw it chained down to keep it from attacking

Predator was a dolled up 335/336 once, them wasn't to shabby

They sell bar and chain oil at Autozone for cheaper than the box stores. Anyone tried it?
