THe carbs don't need to be in perfect sync with each other and the engines don't need to make exactly the same power. It's like having 24 people push a truck, if some are stronger than others it doesn't matter as long as all are pushing.

I doubt that they are all ported. 125 mph + in just thrid gear??? Wonder what 5th or 6th(if it's even available) would turn out for speed! Now thing if those Dolmars were replaced with say some 3120's or some 088's.....hang on tight!!!!

my suspicion would be that, at 125mph in 3rd, the driver was *maybe getting ready to shift into 4th, and then the thought occured to him ... "nahhh, don't think I'll go there just now" ... kind of like the first pilot who broke thru the sound barrier.

they have a page with an mp3 of the sound track ...

It would probably be slower. The large saws are lower RPM. The 12 smaller saws combined have enough power to get it up to speeed and build the top speed based on RPM. If they were replaced with lower RPM engines that had more power I doubt the speed would increase.

That thing is cool!

What some companies will do to get you over to their booth! But it is still cool!

Pretty interesting. looks heavy. I bet it sounds wild.
But then again, you can pick up a used Suzuki GSX1300R and do 191 MPH, and you can dismount without smelling like 2 stoke. ;)

That thing sounds awesome. I cant help but wonder what the top speed is for that bike.
