For me it would have to be the 031AVE I bought that didn't run. Looked great though. It is now running just right...after a good tank and filter cleaning, carb kit and plug. One of these days I'll take a picture and post it. (I think it may have the original bar on it!):)

I would have to say that purchasing a power tuned Husky 372 from the fine folks at Madsens was my highlight saw experience. All I have ever owned and used have been Stihls, my thanks to Sam Madsen for talking me into the 372....what a treat to run!!

Taking a couple of Arbormaster felling courses, and having my 266 up and running, just need to get a proper fuel line installed. Happy New Year!

Good thread, and I'll make that a 'third'...along with getting the breath of life back into the MALL model 12a and making a celebratory cut with it!

Happy 2006 everybody!

1) I fourth the motion by the gentleman from Canada and yield to him the remainder of my time on the floor for this thread.

2) Realizing the true value of a Homelite model 17 is defending ones self against that Peeping Burgerking Clown.

Serenity Now!

Wow...that looks like something I saw as a kid in a Paul Bunyan ad...comic...something. Did he use it to trim his toenails and then out do it with an ax? Help my memory here...I've seen this saw before...a long long time ago in the media.

Finding NOS cylinder & piston with rings, wrist pin etc. for my Super 77

Running my $10 dollar C7 blended with my free C-5 pull start & flywheel with a new chain & carb kit and having it kick ass over my buddies Old husky '60-something CC early generation plasic saw cutting hard maple blown down in our woods...and being so loud the hunters on my place complained of the racket....AND it started second pull. Twice. Then I shut it off to run my 925 because it was giving ME a head ach as well!
