My best chainsaw experience was working for 3 weeks in Bogalusa LA after Katrina. I was working with the Southern Baptist disaster relief effort. First time I have ever or will probably ever again cut 5 food diameter live oaks.

God Bless,

What happens to all this lumber?
Instead of having any Tom Dick or Simon ruin all that stuff they should be milling the stuff making lemonaid of these lemmons.

I'm anxious to find out.

Buying a 2 year old 088 for $100 (o.k., it had a "few" problems).

Expected best experience of 2006 : get it all back togther and mill with it!

Saved my Echo CS-670 from shear disaster on December 31. Looked as though it would take the brunt of a 28" diameter wild cherry tree, when, at the very last minute, it was pulled free. Tree was an accident waiting to happen and was a difficult job. Tree twisted, pinched the saw and you know the rest. That was the highlight as I wasn't ready to part with that one just yet. Second would be getting the Stihl MS-460, BUT I DIDN"T GET IT. I have been promised that it is "on the way". Maybe that will be the highlight of 2006.

My father-in-law gave me an old "old saw" that he had kicking
around in his garage for the last 20 years. It's a nearly
"brand new" (6 tanks through it) Mac 10-10 with not even a
chip on the paint. Best part is that he drained and cleaned
it up before he stored in the garage so it looks like it just
came out of the box.

I supposes there aren't many of you that would get too excited
about an old Mac, but I grew on on them...brings back good memories.

Finding this site and buying my 365. Next year some muffler mods and maybe another new saw or two.

Getting my wee O8-s up and running after bad gas disaster thanks to some of the great folks here extending my learning curve (on many topics too),
cheers!

Finally getting the new 5000 Series Dolmar Chainsaws.:D
After a 3 year wait.:dizzy:

Getting my second brand new saw - Stihl MS361 and getting extensive use at our new house this summer, 5 acres to clean up.
