Looks like a well polished old Stihl to me. Not the best picture, but it looks like my recollection of an 090. It compares well to these images: google images-090

I have not yet figured out what that bracket on the handle is all about.

how stupid that the thread i just created ended up here. ive been around this site a bit and just tried to get it to a spot where someone could see this thing.
