Flea-Bay special Stihl S032, probably a 45 mm Episan aftermarket, as there is no Mahle casting name inside the skirt like an OEM. Seller said it "ran good last week", but it did still have almost 100 psig compression as the bottom ring was still all there. No schrapnel was found, but the muffler screws were loose...
Bore is thoroughly trashed from munching up the top ring.

Interesting to note that this piston direction/flow arrow is marked backwards & it was installed & ran that way, but not for long! The "chunky" side is what you could see from the exhaust port. Don't know any history of previous owners.

My point is: Always check your pinned ring ends' locations.

My question is: How do you know that the connecting rod was not bent from all the carnage? It appears straight and all bearings look/feel fine.

Seller made the transaction right on this one by refunding monies.
