Finally got my chance at a 346xpNE. :rock:

This ones gonna be fun. I got the go ahead to do some extra stuff to it.:msp_biggrin:

Here it is

The biggest small husky mount bar I have is a 20'' & it seems that that's plenty for it in stock form with this hard as concrete oak log I got.

All cleaned up & ready for me to dig in.

First task after recording all the stock numbers is to cut the squish band. I took .055'' off of this one. Also have to cut the base down so that I can get the squish set where I want it.

Another thing I'm doin to this one is lightening the flywheel. Was only able to shave 13 gr. of of it. I could have taken more off of the fins, but this saw lives down south & didn't want any issues with cooling.

Hi Stumpy
By the looks of the flywheel holder you have found some use for the remains from the old shop.
Hope you find use for some of the rest of it.
Hows the new coop progressing?

That saw has already lost a good bit of its punch. New, it will be 20-25psi higher.

I should have already let you have your way with one of mine,

but I haven't want to be without em. :msp_mellow:

Will get a new 50cc top end for the old one at some point. :msp_biggrin:

Done a lil work to the 357 carb that's goin on it.

I also went with a screw type clamp.

Did you just bore it or did you open the jetting?

The screw-type clamps are good, but the metal spring types work just fine too. The important thing is to stay away from the plastic clamps.
