This is one i picked up a few weeks ago.
Root Whiz model 61 with the 610 West Bend motor at 106cc's.
Not there largest motor but still a stout running saw. This was
missing the air filter element and top cover, "no wonder why"
Sticking out front like that. But i had a brand new filter kit in
stock that i had forgoten about. Pretty nice runner.

Nine saw Lee.:msp_thumbsup:

After you have collected parts and saws for years its hard to remember everything you have.:msp_biggrin:

Another nice saw Lee. Now I can't wait to stuff an 820 motor into a SP-125 chassis.

Jacob,

Why use a 125 frame when there so many other frames out there:biggrin::biggrin:

In any event if you do it It will be nice to see as Robert never seems to have any videos that show anything new with his,

Robert,

You lost me.......... Where does it go??????????????? Does Neil have it? If he does hopefully he can shed some light on the saw. The SAME old out of focus video you post SHOWS NOTHING. it is a broken record of claims with no proof.

Robert,

I do not doubt at all you can build a saw but PLEASE take some pride in what you build and PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR KEYBOARD IS.

Now back to the actual subject............

The big WB saws are nice ones to get. I have been fortunate over the years too find a few.

GREAT SAW

That looks a beast, would love to see it cutting something off.
I bet its a white knuckle saw tho after per longed use.
air cleaner must rub sometimes, wonder it does not break off.

Thanks guys,
Been wanting one of these for some time now.
Just another saw to fill the void.
I'll do a video when it dries out up here.
I think it also has the wrong chain. Has 1/2"
on it now. For some reason i'm thinking it
should have 7/16.

Gday Lee I don't have the 610 version just bought a few buggered smaller versions to get the rest of the saw to build my Copperhead that series of engine sounds alright but since I have spare 820's here I might as well reassemble one in the Root frame I still have the polished alloy frame and red trim bits so I will get her back together.

Neil didn't like it in its original for as it had no auto oiler or cushioning after all he run it.

Why would you take a pot shot at Neil??????? Have some pride in what you skillfull hands have built and run it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bill your like a broken record Neil has run my saws on my behalf in better days and you gitting just like him a bit repetitive and boring anyway where's all your video's ?

Bill, I know you do not type this stuff to entertain others but it sure makes me laugh. When I saw the pics posted, I was anxiously awaiting your response.
