Hello all I don’t know the scope of this website as it’s my first minute here so sorry if I’m posting things in the wrong place etc. etc.
I’ll touch a photo so I can explain visually but we had a ginkgo tree planted that when we purchased, it was slightly crooked we tried to Straighten her out … you’ll see straps in the photo and a slight bend. Had we not put the straps on she would’ve been tilted completely 30°….

As you can see, there is a perfectly straight sucker that has formed over the last year and I am wondering if this is the route systems wanton correction for the mothers issues?

I know that trees that grow crooked don’t live long life…. But my mother did not know that I thought it was a good deal.
Hehe… at any rate, she loves this tree, but I’m noticing that that is perfectly straight thoughts from the community please.

Thanks in advance… be well… SmileyFace
