Why yes, yes it is. In fact, there's also a 372XP in my trunk!

Got the call last night at 10pm from a friend, "You know that tree you told me to hire a tree service for at my rental property? Don't need 'em anymore! And, um, the neighbors are having a party at 1pm, so could you be here at 9am so we can clean it up?"

Would've cost me at least $7 more in gas if I took my truck, and I knew this was a simple job when the tree was on the ground.

Nice peavy, that is the same one I have. Good idea on using your bike rack, but you could of strapped everything on your back and road your bike. I am always looking for more ways to get more bike miles in.

No offense, but I thought that looked like a timber jack.

Timber jack. Notice the foot to support the log off the ground.

Peavey. Sort of like a timber jack, but no foot. Just for rolling logs.

Cant hook. Like a Peavey, but no spear. They all do the same basic job. More or less depends on your preference.

It's a peavy. The foot is removable with the allen wrench attached to it.

Hell no. I'm not going to waste the extra $7, probably $10 since I'd be driving home the 30 miles loaded, for a 1/4 cord or less of soft maple. Fusion gets twice the mileage and the Ranger just doesn't have the capacity to ever make getting green wood any distance pencil out. I can cut a decade or two worth of red maple on my own property tomorrow if I needed to.

When the Ranger finally dies, it'll be replaced by a F-250 and hopefully a dump trailer
