Has any one used one of these?

LogRite® Tools logging tools

Do they work? Are they helpfull to move smaller logs out of the woods, down the steep hill to the field where the tractor can drive? I would like to try one but not sure about the price. Also I see that northern tool has one that is very similar for much less money. Has anyone used the cheap chineese one from northern? I am looking at moving tops that the loggers left out of the woods to the fields where I can get to them with the tractor and wagon.
Thanks

I don't have one, but I know that I would have a lot of use for one. That's a great sales video on the link-but like you mention, $5-600 for it is not in my budget.

I have the Fetching arch and hitch for ATV use. I found the larger arch with two man handle too difficult for my son and I to move or reposition logs by hand in an oak forest. Even with the large tires the ground was too soft and even small logs were difficult. I would guess if the ground is hard enough to push a loaded wheelbarrow, then you should be able to pull the loaded junior arch. Down hill would be a plus. I have thought it could be a great addition around the splitter and wood shed where the ground is more solid. LogRite tools and arches are top notch.

I bought a new JR through WesSpur on sale last year. I made arraignments with WesSpur to pick it up at Logrite in Ct. and saved the shipping costs to all. Plus I wanted to meet and see the operation. While there, I saw a slightly used Mark 7 in the garage, a model they no longer sell, similar to the fetching arch. It had everything as far as options including the winch and was used by the owners in making a video for the website. It had some scratches on it. I made them an relatively ridiculously low offer and now have two arches. I love them both and would not sell either. They have paid for themselves already. I'm a happy camper. :msp_thumbup:
