Thank you to all that helped. I found a couple of OEM filters.

Will they actually flow 25GPM though? The ones I found to replace the OEM filter on my County Line 40 ton all had a max flow much less than 25gpm. I seriously doubt the OEM will flow 25GPM without bypassing.

This is why I replaced the filter head and filter to something that will actually flow 25GPM so it doesn't go into bypass so much.

These are the filters I can run with that head.

I also added a pressure gauge to mine and got rid of the metal to metal coupler used to connect the engine to the pump. It now has a Lovejoy style of coupler on it.

I used this mount to mount the pump to the engine.

Thank you for all that information, that`s alot of great info! Regardless though, I`ve had zero issues with this Countyline 40-ton splitter i bought. I haven`t found a round yet that it couldn`t split easily, and everything i split is hardwoods. Until i see any kind of issue with this splitter, its going to stay with what it came with when new. I`m one of those kinds of people that if it ain`t broke, don`t try to fix it, lol. The way MY luck always goes, i try to improve, or tinker with it, i`ll end up with a pile of junk when i`m done. Sometimes things are better left alone, unless there is a real problem raring its ugly head.
